MOU SIGNED BETWEEN ADUKG AND TANMIA

Abu Dhabi University Knowledge Group (ADUKG) and Tanmia entered into a partnership that aims to provide a framework within which the parties will seek to develop a long term collaborative relationship in the fields of national human resources development, job training programs, organizing training and development conferences, and holding workshops to further the objectives of Tanmia and support its role of serving UAE society.

The MOU sets out areas of collaboration such as the development of joint marketing and PR campaigns to highlight the added value of employing Emiratis as well as the benefits and corporate social responsibility of assisting the Emirates in the development of its national human capital. The two parties will also be collaborating on a program called “Tahfeez”.

The MOU was signed by Ricahrd Firth the Director of the Institute for Vocational Development – one of the core Institute members of ADUKG, and H.E. Feddah Loota, the Director General of Tanmia, in the presence of various officials from both parties.

Firth noted the significance of the signing of this memorandum, pointing out the vital role that Tanmia plays in preparing job seekers and equipping them with the necessary skills to enter the job market. Firth added that this partnership will help to improve the study plans and training programs that are being offered in the field of human resources development in the country, and help equip national job seekers with the needed skills to succeed in an ever-changing market.

The ADUKG was created as a commercial sister entity to complement Abu Dhabi University (ADU). The ADUKG is able to combine a depth of academic validity with the flexibility and innovation needed to respond to the social, governmental and corporate training and developmental needs of the region. Based on cutting edge practical research the ADUKG has recently developed a suite of Emiratisation training and development programs that are intended to provide innovative and holistic advancement in the field of Nationalization.
