IED’s mission is to support the community and major national initiatives by working closely with the private and public
sectors to create and implement practical programs in support of their leadership and strategic objectives. Being part of Abu Dhabi University, IED has the local infrastructure and development mechanisms for continuous learning and ensuring
the sharing of knowledge among managers and leaders within the region.

Our Program Areas

IED has collaborated with internationally renowned management organizations to create programs that provide innovative and effective approaches to strategic management.
A key area of IED’s expertise lies in developing the coaching capacity of managers and leaders in the UAE, creating a ‘coaching culture’ in their organizations to ingrain coaching as a leadership and management style. Our accredited coaching programs set a rigorous standard for practicing executive coaches, including senior level business experience, business consulting experience and coaching expertise.
IED recognizes that leadership is a phenomenon that emerges from and within a culture. IED therefore brings its unique understanding of the region to inform the design and content of its highly effective senior leadership learning interventions. Our programs combine this understanding with the latest international thinking on leadership practices and are delivered in collaboration with our leading business school partners.
